1. About Us
SparkSatchel runs this online store specialising in products. This page explains how we handle your personal data — what we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. Using our site or placing an order means you're on board with what's described here.
2. What We Collect
Here's a quick breakdown of the data we gather:
- Identity & contact data: name, email address, shipping and billing address and phone number.
- Order data: products purchased, order value and payment confirmation (we never store full card numbers).
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited.
- Marketing data: your preferences for receiving emails and offers from us.
3. Why We Use It
- Order fulfilment – processing payment, shipping products and supporting you along the way.
- Keeping you in the loop – order confirmations, shipping updates and responses to your queries.
- Making things better – learning how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
- Marketing – newsletters and offers, only when you've opted in. Unsubscribe any time.
- Legal obligations – tax, accounting and fraud-prevention requirements.
4. Payments & Security
Every payment goes through PCI-DSS compliant providers over encrypted SSL/TLS connections. SparkSatchel never sees or stores your full card details — ever.
5. Cookies
Cookies keep your cart running, remember your preferences, help us measure traffic and personalise offers. You're in control — adjust or delete cookies through your browser settings whenever you like.
6. Who We Share Data With
We don't sell your data. Full stop. We share only what's necessary with trusted partners — payment providers, shipping carriers, our e-commerce platform (Shopify) and analytics tools — so they can do their part in running the store.
7. How Long We Keep It
We hold onto your personal data only as long as needed to fulfil orders and satisfy legal, tax and accounting obligations.
8. Your Rights
You can access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. You can also object to or restrict how it's processed, and withdraw marketing consent whenever you choose. Just email Contact@SparkSatchel.Shop to get started.
9. Kids & Privacy
Our store isn't designed for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has submitted personal data to us, reach out and we'll remove it straight away.
10. Policy Updates
We may refresh this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will appear right here with an updated "Last updated" date.
